TRAITS
Bypass Cover. Your attack rolls for spells ignore Half Cover and Three-Quarters Cover.
Casting in Melee. Being within 5 feet of an enemy doesn’t impose Disadvantage on your attack rolls with spells.
Concentration. Charname has Advantage on Constitution saving throws that he makes to maintain Concentration.
Increased Range. When you cast a spell that has a range of at least 10 feet and requires you to make an attack roll, you can increase the spell’s range by 60 feet.
Resourceful. Charname gains Heroic Inspiration whenever he finishes a Long Rest.
Somatic Components. Charname can perform the Somatic components of spells even when he has weapons or a Shield in one or both hands.
Tactical Mind. When Blackthorn fails an ability check, he can expend a use of his Second Wind. Rather than regaining Hit Points, he adds 5 (1d10) to the ability check, potentially turning it into a success. If the check still fails, this use of Second Wind isn’t expended.
War Bond. You learn a ritual that creates a magical bond between yourself and a weapon. You perform the ritual over the course of 1 hour, which can be done during a Short Rest. The ritual fails if another Fighter is bonded to the weapon or if the weapon is a magic item that someone else has attuned to. Once bonded, you can’t be disarmed of that weapon unless you have the Incapacitated condition. As a Bonus Action, you can summon it to your hand as long as its on the same plane of existence as you. You can have up to 2 bonded weapons, but you can only summon one at a time with a Bonus Action. If you try to bond with a 3rd weapon, you must break the bond with one of the other two.
ACTIONS
Extra Attack. Blackthorn can attack twice instead of once whenever he takes the Attack action on his turn.
War Magic. When you take the Attack action, you can replace one of the attacks with a casting of one of your Wizard cantrips that has a casting time of an action.
Shillelagh. Melee Attack Roll: +7, reach 5 feet. Hit: 11 (1d10 + 6) Bludgeoning or Force damage. If Blackthorn hits a creature with this weapon and deals damage to it, he can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of Blackthorn’s next turn.
True Strike. Melee Attack Roll: +7, reach 5 feet. Hit: 8 (1d4 + 6) Bludgeoning or Radiant damage plus 3 (1d6) Radiant damage. If Blackthorn hits a creature with this weapon and deals damage to it, he can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of Blackthorn’s next turn.
Spellcasting. Charname is an 8th level spellcaster. He casts spells using Intelligence as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 15, +7 to hit with spell attacks).

Second Wind (3/Long Rest). Blackthorn regains 13 Hit Points (1d10 + 8) and can move up to half his Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks.

REACTIONS
Reactive Spell. Trigger: When a creature provokes an Opportunity Attack from Charname by leaving his reach. Response: Charname casts a spell at the creature rather than making an Opportunity Attack. The spell must have a casting time of one action and must target only that creature.
